You’ve got a beautiful property to sell, but unfortunately, you are unable to sell your house? Or you are looking for a house in a listing site that you saw, but you are clueless on what to do? Hence, a real estate agent comes to the rescue!
Many of you are asking why hire an agent? For me, there are plenty of reasons why you need an agent and I can enumerate the reasons as to why.
First, a real estate transaction is one of the most stressful things to do. You have to do a lot of legwork, process a lot of documents and communicate to a lot of people. So, why are you going to waste your time and energy when you can hire someone who can do that for you? If you are thinking you are going to save a lot of money if you’ll do it by yourself, then think again. A few thousands to save is not worth it if you will be physically and emotionally drained because of the processes that you need to undergo to.
Second, if you don’t know anything on how real estate works… back off! Imagine you are selling your house and you are dealing with the Buyer’s agent? How can you communicate with him? Some agents might use terminologies which doesn’t ring a bell to you, a jargon to you. You might be fooled with your negotiation because you don’t have a representative who can protect your rights. If I were the seller, I would really need an agent who can explain to me the ins and outs of real estate, someone who can give me suggestions and insight of what needs to be done.
Lastly, agents are there to guide you to make the right choices, especially about the PRICE. Buyers want to get a property for a good price while seller wants to have a big net. Agents are there to weight things out based on the market supply, demand and the conditions.
All in all, agents are not just there to get their commission from you, but to help you get your ideal house at a good price on the buyer’s side, and on the seller’s side, to sell their house in a short span of time at good price too.
